Delivery of animal accessories on Amazon

A Ukrainian entrepreneur selling products for pets (collars, toys, bowls) decided to go to Amazon USA. A load weighing 700 kg had to be delivered to Amazon FBA warehouses (Fulfillment by Amazon) in California.

Problems:

The inconsistency of the initial packaging with the requirements of Amazon.
Organization of the last mile of delivery to the Amazon warehouse, where the receipt is carried out strictly according to the schedule.
Criminations in the supply chain due to temporary restrictions in the ports of Europe.

Decision:

We helped the client adjust the packaging and labeling of goods that meets Amazon standards.
They quickly resolved the issue with customs, specifying commodity codes.
We chose the optimal multimodal route: air transportation to New York, and then ground delivery to Amazon warehouses.
They organized a clear interaction with the American logists for early reservation of the delivery slot at the FBA warehouse.

Bottom line:The cargo arrived at the warehouse on time, which allowed the client to start sales in a timely manner. We also organized repeated sending, which made cooperation long -term.
