Delivery of a container of socks in the USA

The Ukrainian textile factory sent a full 20-foot container with socks (total weight-5 tons) in the USA. The main challenge was on the scale of the cargo and the delivery should have been completed before Christmas.

Problems:

The overload of US ports in the festive season increased the waiting time.
The need for textile certification in the United States.
Delays in the chart of the vessel due to weather conditions.

Decision:

Prepared all the necessary documentation, including certificates of origin and quality confirmation for textile products.
We chose an alternative to arrival with less loading and organized ground delivery to the client’s warehouse.
Contained monitoring of the route and informed the client about each stage.

Bottom line:The container was delivered in 35 days, despite the delays in the port. All goods retained its quality, and the client managed to put it up for sale before the holidays.
