Auto -parts Delivery from Ukraine to the United States

Views Count :

Client:A private company that sells Ukrainian auto parts in the United States.Route:Ukraine (Kyiv) → Poland → Germany → USA (Chicago). The volume of cargo:6.5 tons (various oversized vehicles for cars, large and non -standard spare parts).

Problems and solutions:

Difficulties with export from Ukraine:

  • Problem:The equipment for cars included large parts of non -standard sizes, which complicated loading, storage and transportation. Many carriers have refused delivery because of the difficulty of placing cargo in standard containers.
  • Decision:We organized a coordinated work of the warehouse: we made preliminary measurements and planning of loading, used individual fastenings and special packaging to protect brittle elements. In addition, a multimodal scheme was involved: road transport to Poland with an overload into a maritime container.

Customs questions:

  • Problem:For the import of some types of equipment, it was necessary to clarify the codes of TN FEA and additional confirmation of the origin of products.
  • Decision:The client has received recommendations to prepare the required package of documents, including certificates of origin from our broker in the US. This made it possible to minimize the design time at the border.

Reduced Delivery Cost:

  • Problem:Many spare parts were oversized and very heavy, which increased the cost of transportation.
  • Decision:We gave the client recommendations for the preparation of special packaging for the transportation of oversized cargoes, which allowed to reduce the volume of space occupied in containers. They also used a combined delivery option: a sea for large parts and aircraft supplement for urgent components.
Result:The client received equipment without damage and delays, with transportation costs optimized by proper preparation of cargo and the choice of multimodal delivery scheme.
